Namun, pada balapan wildcard musim ini Ducati menggunakan livery motor yang berbeda. Kali ini Ducati di MotoGP berkolaborasi dengan tim WorldSBK. Ducati dan Aruba.it telah bekerja sama sejak tahun 2015 di WorldSBK. "Maybe last year I took a little too much holiday and made a few mistakes in planning pre-competition," said Lorenzo. "This year I'm not going to make this mistake and I'm going to be in better shape. "I feel very good - I'm thin, just like when I was 20. There's no way to measure one's physical capacity, but you get certain feelings and I've never trained so hard or for so many hours. "Everything was very well planned.
